Methodology: Sale prices taken from Land Registry's Price Paid dataset of residential property sales to individuals since August 2007. The average price per square meter for each postcode district is calculated by dividing the total price of all sales by the total floor area of all properties. Some postcode districts, such as Heathrow and parts of the City of London, may have no matching residential transactions.
